Valissa Yoe is a New York and Miami based hair/makeup artist and men’s groomer.

After graduating from FIT with a degree in Fashion Design, she cut her teeth in the fashion world working with Stevie Wonder’s wife, Kai Milla and Mishka before going solo in 2007 as a fashion stylist. Embracing her passion for oil painting, photography and sculpting growing up, Valissa began to harness her creative energy into hair/makeup and men’s grooming in 2010.

Valissa appeared on-camera for Glamour Magazine’s web series, “Dress to Kill”. She can also be found lecturing at FIT. Valissa has been a brand ambassador for Pepsi, Perrier and Sol Republic.

Valissa is a respected figure in the music world as a local and international DJ playing at the hottest events and venues in New York, Miami, London, Berlin, and Paris. She has played in support of heavyweights such as DRAKE, JOHN LEGEND, CHARLIE XIX, A-TRAK, LIL KIM and Q-TIP. She has djed for MAC COSMETICS, SAKS 5TH AVE, GQ, NYLON, REFINERY 29, NETFLIX, MOMA, TOPSHOP,  DIESEL, GREY GOOSE, PERRIER, SOHO HOUSE, OUTPUT and LE BAIN.
